New website launched

We are very excited to present our new website. While some sections are still under development, we wanted to bring the online face of Hillel at Emory into the 21st century.

We hope you enjoy browsing the site and appreciate some of the new features. Your feedback is welcome and encouraged. Please let us know what you think by leaving a comment below. We look forward to hearing from you.

Great job! Is there going to be a forum for students? Parents?

Is there a way to draw parents to Web site? Perhaps a direct email to parents inviting them to the Hillel table at move-in, Shabbat dinner, etc.

Randi- thanks for the positive feedback. We are definitely looking at ways to draw parents to the new site. I don't know how many have found the site yet, but I can tell you that students are definitely using it and loving it. We've had around 1,200 unique visitors since launch, which is pretty amazing.

We're looking into a forum as part of stage 2 in our website development, and I'd be interested to hear what kinds of things would be interesting and useful for people in a forum. What do you think?
