Hillel at Emory works hard to meet the religious needs of Jewish students during the High Holidays and to make the holidays engaging and meaningful for students away from home.
Hillel offers Reform and Conservative services on both Rosh Hashannah and Yom Kippur, as well as Orthodox services on Rosh Hashanah. All services are open to Emory students at no charge, but require signing up in advance. Faculty and members of the Atlanta Jewish community and guests are welcome to purchase tickets to attend services. A full schedule of services is available here.
If you are looking to attend a synagogue in the Greater Atlanta community, here are a few options to consider.
Hillel serves dinner on Rosh Hashannah after services, dinner on Yom Kippur before services, and a meal after Yom Kippur to break the fast.
